LILLIAN LEE BARLOW HOLLEMAN 

  Mrs. J.B. Holleman was born at Bacon's Castle, Va., September 10th, 1885, 
and died at the Riverside Hospital, Newport News, May 10, 1936.  Age forty 
nine years and eight months.  She spent the last four months of her life in 
the hospital.

  Mrs. Holleman is survived by her husband Mr. J.B. Holleman, and five 
children; Ruth, Sarah, Lee and Glen Hunnicutt, and William Bruce Holleman 
all of Bacon's Castle.  One sister, Mrs. Gray Goodrich of Bacon's Castle. 
Three brothers, Wesley and Vernon Barlow of Bacon's Castle and George 
Sherman Barlow of Courtland, Va.  Three half-sisters; Mrs. Denna Bassett, 
Mrs. Lucille Tillman of Newport News, Va. and Miss Rebecca Barlow of 
Richmond, Va.  Two half-brothers, Henry Barlow of Gates City, Va. and John 
Winston Barlow of Richmond, Va. and a host of other relative and friends. 
She leaves behind her the fragrance of a beautiful Christian Character.

  Mrs. Holleman was converted and joined the Bacon's Castle Baptist Church 
early in life and from girlhood she was a faithful loyal member of the 
Woman's Missionary Society and of the Baptist Young Peoples Union of the 
Church.  Our Church and the Community have sustained a great loss in Her 
home going.
