JOSEPH CHRISTOPHER HANCOCK 

JOSEPH C. HANCOCK 

  Joseph Christopher Hancock, 81, a retired Surry County farmer, died Friday. 

  He is survived by his widow, Edna N. Hancock; one daughter, Mrs. Clyde W. 
Kinton of Church Road; one son, Joseph P. Hancock of Wakefield; one sister, 
Mrs. Corinne H. Pittman of Petersburg; and two brothers, Ernest and Benjamin 
Hancock of Petersburg. 

  The body will be taken from Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield to Rocky 
Hock Methodist Church for services at 2 p.m. Monday. 

  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
