Hargrave, died suddenly Friday evening in the home of her son, Mr. W.P. Hargrave, of near here. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ned Holleman, and the widow of the late J. S. Hargrave, to whom she was married February 8, 1872, to whom she was married February 8, 1872, to which union was born eight children, five boys and three girls. Fifty years ago she united with Mill Swamp Baptist Church, of which she remained a faithful member until death. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Laura Richardson, Wakefield, one daughter, Mrs. Mamie Rollings, Wakefield; four sons, Messrs. L.G. and W.P. Hargrave of Wakefield, F.A. and H.J. Hargrave, of Dendron, twenty-four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The funeral was conducted from the graveside by Revs. W.M. Hall, Ivor, C.H. Fielding, Wakefield, in the presence of a large gathering of friends. Interment was in Rocky Hock cemetery.
