A daughter of the late J. Robert and Permelia L. Faison, she is the widow of Edgar Jones. A native of Surry County, she was a member of the Wakefield Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Edgar Jones, of Staunton, and David L. Steele, of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. Elsie S. Cunningham, of Fredericksburg; three sisters, Mrs. M.H. Bennett and Miss Ethel Faison, both of Alexander, and Mrs. A.A. Atkinson, of Dendron, VA.: a brother, George Faison, of Williamsburg; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and two great-grand-children. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Wakefield Cemetery, by the Rev. L.P. Bland.
