WYLEY DELK JONES 

W.D. JONES, 73, BURIED THURSADY AT BACONS CASTLE 

  Wyley D. Jones, age 73, died at the Lakeview Hospital, Suffolk, Tuesday, 
October 14th, 1947, at 12 o'clock, after a long illness.

  He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J.A. Thacker, and Mrs. J.T. West, 
both of Smithfield, and two brothers, Sidney Jones of Ivor, and William 
Jones, of Surry; also several nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 16th, at the grave at 
the Old Brick Church, Bacons Castle.

  The procession left the Jones Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
