EDWIN D. "BUD" JOHNSON 

  Edwin D. "Bud" Johnson, 69, of 2500 Landslide [sic; Lancelot] Ave., a 
retired farmer, died Friday at a Richmond hospital.  He is survived by two 
daughters, Mrs. Mattie White and Miss Nettie Johnson; a son, Billy E. Johnson, 
all of Richmond, and two grandchildren.  Funeral arrangements were incomplete 
last night.

  A funeral service for Edwin D. Johnson, 69, of 2500 Lancelot Ave., a retired 
farmer, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home with 
burial in Rocky Hock Methodist Church Cemetery, Surry County.  Mr. Johnson 
died Friday in a Richmond hospital.
