JAMES M. JOHNSON, JR. 

Smithfield, Va., Feb. 21 - James Melvin Johnson, Jr., 6-month old son of 
J.M. and Mrs. Camilla Cox Johnson, of Bacon's Castle, died Tuesday in a 
Newport News hospital.  Besides his parents, he is survived by his maternal 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Cox of Smithfield, his paternal grandparents, 
Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Johnson, Sr., of Bacons' Castle, and several aunts and 
uncles.  The funeral procession will leave Bullock Funeral Home here at 2:30 
p.m. Wednesday for Old Brick Church Cemetery at Bacon's Castle, where a 
graveside service will be held at 3 p.m.
