A native of Surry County, he was the former owner and operator of Knight's Country House Restaurant in Wakefield and a member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church. Survivors include one sister Mrs. Bernice K. Andrews of Wakefield. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Purviance Funeral Home by Rev. L.P. Bland. A native of Surry County, Mr. Knight was the former owner and operator of Knight's Country House Restaurant and was a member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Bernice Knight Andrews of Wakefield. Burial was in Rocky Hock Church Cemetery.
