KNIGHT Mrs. Wortley Ellen Knight, 98, one of Wakefield's oldest residents, died Tuesday, March 30, at Louise Obici Hospital in Suffolk. She was a native of Southampton County and the widow of Benjamin Franklin Knight. She was the oldest member of the Rocky Hock United Methodist Church. Survivors include; a son Ben. E. Knight; a daughter, Mrs. Rossie E. Andrews, both of Wakefield; three granddaughters, and three great-granddaughters. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, April 1, at 2:30 p.m. in the Rocky Hock Church Cemetery by the Rev. R.L. Consolvo. Active pallbearers will be R.M. Pond, W.C. Sealey Jr., J. Richard Andrews, Allen Ray Worrell, Harvey W. Stephenson, Ralph E. Sealey, S. Aubrey Whitmore, and Charlie W. Drewry. Purviance Funeral Home of Wakefield is in charge of the arrangements.
