ALVIN HOWARD LOWE, JR. 

  WAKEFIELD - Alvin H. Lowe Jr., 54, lifelong resident and farmer of Surry 
County, died Tuesday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk. 

  He was a member of Rocky Hock United Methodist Church and the Farmer's Hunt 
Club. 

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Viola Curtis Lowe; one daughter, Mrs. 
Robert P. Parsons of Windsor; one son, Dwight A. Lowe of Wakefield; his 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Lowe Sr.; a sister, Mrs. J.C. Whitmore Jr.; two 
brothers, G. Franklin Lowe and Vernon V. Lowe, all of Wakefield, and two 
grandchildren.

  A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Purviance Funeral Home, 
Wakefield, by the Rev. J.E. Wilkerson, the Rev. L.P. Bland, and the Rev. H.B. 
Fisher. 

  Burial will be in Rocky Hock Church Cemetery.

Tuesday, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield. 
Burial will be in Rocky Hock Church Cemetery.

ALVIN HOWARD LOWE, JR. 

  WAKEFIELD - Alvin Howard Lowe, Jr. 54, died Tuesday in Louise Obici Memorial

  He was the husband of Mrs. Viola Curtis Lowe and a son of A.H. Lowe Sr. and 
Mrs. Virgie Bailey Lowe of Wakefield. 

  He was a lifelong resident and a farmer of Surry County.  He was a member of 
the Farmers Hunt Club and Rocky Hock United Methodist Church. 

  Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert P. Parsons of Windsor; a 
son, Dwight Allen Lowe, two brothers, G. Franklin Lowe and Vernon V. Lowe, and 
a sister, Mrs. J.C. Whitmore Jr., All of Wakefield; and two grandchildren. 

  A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Purviance Funeral 
Chapel by the Rev. L.P. Bland, the Rev. J.E. Wilkerson, and the Rev. H.B. 
Fisher.  Burial will be in Rocky Hock Church Cemetery.
