Victims of the Claremont crash were Mann P. Livesay, 76. of Rt. 2, Spring Grove; his wife, Mrs. Olene R. Livesay, 51; Mrs. Dorothy Robertson Wilkins, 33 or 34, Prince George County. State police said the accident occurred on 613, two miles south of Claremont. Mrs. Livesay was listed as driver of one car. Mrs. Wilkins was a passenger in a car driven by her husband, Freddie R. Wilkins, who was hospitalized in Hopewell. A funeral service for Mr. and Mrs. Livesay was held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, October 11, in the Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield. Burial followed in the Brandon Church Cemetery. The rites were conducted by the Rev. J.E. McCauley, pastor of Waverly Christian Church; the Rev. R.E. Brittle, pastor of Bethlehem Christian Church at Suffolk, and the Rev. W.S. Gower, pastor of Claremont Baptist Church. Mr. Livesay was a native of Prince George County and a merchant at Cabin Point. He was a member of Brandon Episcopal Church. Mrs. Livesay was a native of Wilson, N.C., and a member of Claremont Baptist Church. The couple is survived by a daughter, Manna Page Livesay of Spring Grove. Mrs. Livesay is also survived by three sons of a previous marriage, Johnny Godwin of Arlington, Reginald Godwin of Ft. Benning, Ga., and Talmadge Godwin of Fort Pierce, Florida; seven sisters, Mrs. Richard Harris of Rocky Mount, N.C.; Mrs. Mertie Sharp of South River, N.C.; Mrs. Bertha Rhodes of Bailey, N.C.; Mrs. A.J. Potgoski of Portsmouth; and Mrs. Albert Pridgen, Mrs. Lee Stott and Mrs. Macy Batts, all of Wilson, N.C.; and two brothers, H.C. Rose of Rahway, N.J.; and J.C. Rose of Wilson. Mr. Livesay is survived by two daughters of a previous marriage, Mrs. Mabel Matthews and Mrs. Alice Millis, both of Wilmington, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. J. E. Burrow of Surry, and Mrs. James Hill and Mrs. E.H. Temple, both of Dendron; two brothers, James G. Livesay of Newport News and Waverly B.
