Logan will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Bullock Funeral Home by the Rev. Ralph W. Mapp, pastor of Surry Baptist Church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Logan, 61, died Tuesday afternoon in his home in Surry after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Surry, where he owned and operated a service station. He was a member of Surry Baptist Church. He was a son of John W. and Mrs. Rodell Nunnally Logan. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lillian Ferguson Logan; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Peck of Surry; a son, Ray S. Logan of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Thweatt of Richmond; five brothers, G.P. Logan, C.P. Logan, John A. Logan, H.M. Logan and W.W. Logan of Surry County; and four grandchildren.
