EDWARD JUDSON MURRAY 

EDW. J. MURRAY, 74, BURIED AT BACONS CASTLE THURSDAY 

  Edward Judson Murray, 74 died at his home in Surry County, April 5th after 
a long illness.

  He was a well-known farmer and a member of Bacons Castle Baptist Church.

  Besides his wife, Mrs. Maggie Council Murray, he is survived by two sons, 
Edward Lee and Murray of Kingport, Tenn., and Leslie J. Murray of Richmond.

  Funeral services were held at the chapel of the Bullock Funeral Home 
Thursday at 3 p.m. conducted by the Rev. J.V. Tesh, pastor of Tabernacle 
Baptist Cemetery at Bacons Castle.

  Pallbearers were Ernest McCoy, Allen McGuriman, P.G. West, Shirley Goodrich, 
Carlton Branch and Leroy Price.
