LILLIE WARREN MORRIS, 65, BURIED SUNDAY, OCT. 28 Mrs. Lillie Warren Morris, 65, of Rushmere, Isle of Wight County, died October 26th in the Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, after a short illness. A native of Surry County, she had lived in Rushmere 11 years. She was a member of the Bacons Castle Baptist Church and of the Woman’s Missionary Society of that church. Surviving are her husband, Edward T. Morris; one daughter, Mrs. Howard Hunnicutt of Rushmere; two sons, William W. Morris, of Deep Creek, and E.T. Morris, Jr.; of Rushmere; six grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Jim Morris and Mrs. Julia Jones, both of Smithfield; Mrs. Ben Ellis of Bacon’s Castle; Mrs. Willie Delk of Newport News, and Mrs. D.D. Ellis of Churchland; four brothers, E.T. and Jesse Warren, both of Bacons Castle; J.C. Warren of Hampton and Sam Warren of Smithfield. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Bullock Funeral Home, Smithfield, by the Rev. J.O. Reed, Jr., pastor of the Bacons Castle Baptist Church. Burial was in the Old Brick Church Cemetery at Bacon’s Castle. Palbearers were William Ellis, James Delk, James Morris, Jesse Jones, John W. Warren, Bennie W. Ellis, Samuel Warren and James Warren.
