POND WAKEFIELD - Mrs. Sallie M. Pond, wife of W.J. Pond of near Wakefield, died Thursday afternoon. She had been ill for several weeks. She was, before her marriage, Miss Sallie Q. Moyler of Sussex County. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 4 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Robert H. Humphrey, pastor of the Rocky Hock Methodist Church, assisted by the Rev. W.L. Ware of Richmond. Burial will be in the family plot at Rocky Hock Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George L. Munford and Miss Dorothy Pond, and two sons, W.M. Pond and R.M. Pond and one grandchild, all of Wakefield.
