ARTHUR LEE PRESSON, JR. 

  Arthur Lee Presson, Jr., 25, of Wakefield, died Saturday, September 18, 
1976, in an automobile accident.  A native of Wakefield, he was a member of 
Rocky Hock United Methodist Church, Wakefield Ruritan Club; was Assistant 
Manager of Production Credit Association and Federal Land Bank of Waverly. 
He was a graduate student of William and Mary; graduate of Waverly High 
School Class of 1969 and Class President; VPI Graduate of 1973; VPI Alumni 
Association; and Alpha Kappa Psi.  He is survived by his parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Arthur Lee Persson Sr.; one sister, Miss Alice E. Presson of Stuarts 
Draft.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. from the Purviance 
Funeral Chapel, Wakefield.  Interment Rocky Hock Church Cemetery.  Memorial 
donations may be made to the Surry or Waverly Rescue Squad.
