She was a lifelong resident of Surry Co. and a member of Rocky Hock Methodist Church. She was the daughter of George W. and Ida Goodrich Rogers. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary R. Bailey of Norfolk and two brothers, S. Oliver Rogers and G. Benjamin Rogers both of Wakefield. Services will be held at Purviance Funeral Chapel in Wakefield, Thursday, Feb. 22 at 2:30 p.m. with burial at Rocky Hock Cemetery. Rev. Edward B. Owen and Rev. L.P. Bland will officiate. Pallbearers are C.M. Ellis, Jr., Joe Eggleston, S.A. Whitmore, Jr., Fred T. Goodrich and B.H. Goodrich.
