He was born on May 17, 1956 and grew up in Massillon, Ohio. He moved to Williamsburg, Virginia when he was 15 years old and graduated from Yorktown High School, Yorktown, VA in 1974. James Lee Radcliffe was an electronics technician in his own business Radcliffe Electronics in James City County for close to 20 years until 2000 after he and his wife moved from Williamsburg to Dendron VA in 1998. James Lee Radcliffe is survived by his wife, Francis L. Parker-Radcliffe and three step-children; Robin C. Brennan and her husband Michael and their two daughter, Megan and Molly in Vancouver, Washington; Rachel A. Babson and her husband, Roger and their two sons, Roger Daniel and Robbie in Toms River, New Jersey. Frederick (Rick) L. Parker, Jr., in Phoenix, Arizona. He is survived by his sister Anne R. Comer and her husband Wesley F. Comer in Florida, as well as their five children; Cynthia E. Ricks, Christina S. Platt, Wesley R. Comer, Matthew J. Comer, and Kathryn V. Comer. He is also survived by his brother, Robert H. Radcliffe in Williamsburg, Virginia In addition, he is also survived by the following relatives on his mother’s side in Ohio: his aunts Gladys Markley and Doris Sauner, and uncles Dale Henry, Tom Henry, and Merl Henry, as well as various cousins including David Markley, Frank Markley and Guy Markley. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Bettie L. Bunker, sister and brother-in-law Virginia Clark, Susan Crittenden, Robert Carr, Debbie Cook and her husband Dana Cook, and Jonathan Bunker and his wife Sharon as well as several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. James Lee Radcliffe was preceded in death by his mother, Marie E. Henry Radcliffe and his father, Homer H. Radcliffe. He is also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert C. Bunker. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, December 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, Va. The eulogy will be given by Pastor Dana Mitchell Cook of The New Birth Christian Church in Mt. Airy, N.C. His maternal grandparents, Lewis Whiting & Alethe M. (BAILEY) HENRY, are buried in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton, Starke Co., OH. His paternal grandparents, Robert Joseph & Verona Lucille (SKILES) RADCLIFFE, are buried in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Massillon, Starke Co., OH.
