LUCY ROWELL OF SURRY COUNTY BURIED SATURDAY Mrs. Lucy Hunnicutt Rowell, 73, died November 18th at a local hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of Everett Rowell and was a charter member of Bacon's Castle Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Susah Smith Rowell and five sons, Charles G., Joseph W., Thomas J., James and Richard F. Rowell. The funeral procession left the Roberts & Johnson Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday and services and burial was in the Old Brick Church Cemetery, Bacon's Castle, with the Rev. J.A. Cales, officiating. Active pallbearers were Dr. Thomas N., B.C., A.R. and Lee Hunnicutt; W.L. West and R.J. Rowell.
