SARAH "SADIE" WARREN SEWARD SAVEDGE

  Mrs. Sadie Seward Savedge, 83, of Elberon, widow of George Lee Savedge, Sr., 
died Friday at a Richmond hospital.

  Mrs. Savedge, a lifelong resident of Surry County, was a member of Moore’s 
Swamp Baptist Church.

  Surviving are two sons, Henry S. Savedge, of Suffolk; and Geo. Lee Savedge, 
Jr., of Elberon; a daughter Mrs. Robert W. James, of Richmond; five 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

  A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bullock Funeral Home, 
Smithfield with burial in Moore's Swamp Church Cemetery.
