WALLACE A. "WALLY" SOWDER 

  SOWDER, Wallace A. - Wally, or F-Sharp to friends, Wallace A. Sowder, 75 
years of age, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at his home.  He was 
born in Elberon, Va. to the late Augustus T. Sowder and Marion C. Sowder.

  Wally was lovingly sarcastic, musically gifted, beach loving, and the 
proprietor of Wally World 72nd Street.

  He was an awesome husband, father, grandfather and friend.

WALLACE A. "WALLY" SOWDER 

  VIRGINIA BEACH - Wally, or F-Sharp to friends, Wallace A. Sowder, 75 years 
of age, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at his home.  He was born in 
Elberon, Va. to the late Augustus T. Sowder and Marion C. Sowder.

  Wally was lovingly sarcastic, musically gifted, beach loving, and the 
proprietor of Wally World 72nd Street.

  He was an awesome husband, father, grandfather and friend.

  He is survived by his son, Scott A. Sowder and his wife, Amy; grandson, 
John Scott; brother, Gene Sowder; nephew, Eric Sowder and his wife Anita and 
their three children: Will, Grace, and Ruby; niece, Jennifer Walthan; sister-
in-law, Nancy Johnson and her husband Gary; and niece, Sunny Mitchell.

  A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel by LCDR Sunny Mitchell.  The 
burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Surry, Va.  The family will 
receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
