FANNIE ROLLINGS STEWART 

  ELBERON - Fannie Rollings Stewart, 89, of Elberon passed away peacefully on 
Sunday, March 27, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.  Fannie was a 
loving mother and a devoted wife who made friends everywhere she went and she 
never met a stranger.  She loved her garden and canning that provide for her 
family.  Fannie was a member of Union Christian Church.  She was predeceased 
by her parents, Robert and Fannie Rawls Rollings; husband Walter Stewart, Sr.; 
a grandson; a sister and a brother.

  Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bucky Stewart (Connie), Cathy 
Edwards (Mike), Millie Bulifant (Charlie), Marvin Stewart, and Robert Stewart 
(Robbie); seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-
grandson.

  The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at R.W. Baker & Co. 
Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the 
home of Bucky and Connie Stewart.  A funeral service will be held at 12:00 
noon Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Ray Rowland 
officiating.  Burial will follow in the Union Christian Church Cemetery.  In 
lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Surry Volunteer 
Rescue Squad, P.O. 188, Surry, VA 23883 or Union Christian Church, 2339 New 
Design Rd. Dendron, VA 23839.
