HARDY RAY STEWART 
Little Surry, Surry County, VA 
April 14, 1916 - April 22, 1916 

  Little Hardy Ray, the infant Son of Mr. and Mrs. James Graves Stewart passed 
away Saturday, April 22, at 4 A.M.  Let us forget the sorrow in parting and 
let it be lost in the consoling thought that he has reached the beautiful home 
beyond.  Interment was made in the Rocky Hock cemetery.

Dear, precious, angel baby/ We know you are at rest,/ 
Safe from all pain and sorrow/ On Jesus gentle breast./ 
We hope to meet you, Ray/ On Heaven’s golden shore,/ 
And never to be parted/ There to dwell forever more./ A Friend.


Hardy Ray STEWART, son of James G. & M.M. "Mamie" (GOODRICH) STEWART, 
b. 14 Apr 1916, Surry Co., d. 22 Apr 1916, Little Surry, Surry Co., 
interred in Rocky Hock Methodist Church Cemetery*,
