ROY HARTWELL STUART 

  Roy Hartwell Stuart, age 60, of Ashland, died Tuesday, October 11, 1977. 
He was a native of Surry County; retired employee of Ashland Auto Parts Co., 
an Army Veteran of World War II; member of Royal Order of Moose No. 2099 
Ashland.  He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Irene Wilmouth of 
Thomasville, NC; two stepdaughters, Mrs. June C. Minrick of Ashland and 
Mrs. Martha Thomas of Arvonia; two brothers, Willie B. Stuart of Richmond 
and Ashton L. Stuart of Surry County; five grandchildren.  Funeral service 
will be held Thursday October 13, at 2:30 p.m. in the Purviance Funeral 
Chapel, Wakefield.  Burial with Moose Rites will be conducted in Rocky Hock 
Church Cemetery, Surry County.
