ROY HARTWELL STUART* 

ROY STUART 

  WAKEFIELD - Roy Stuart, 60, a native of Surry County, died Tuesday in a 
Richmond hospital. 

  Mr. Stuart was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Loyal Order of 
Moose, and retired from Ashland Auto Parts Co., Ashland. 

  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Irene Wilmuth of Thomasville, 
N.C.; two step-daughters; two brothers, Ashton L. Stuart of Surry County and 
Willie B. Stuart of Richmond, and five grandchildren. 

  A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Purviance Funeral Home, 
Wakefield, by the Rev. L.P. Bland. 

  Burial, with Moose rites, will be in Rocky Hock Cemetery, Surry County.

p.m. today in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield.  Burial, with Moose rites, 
will be in Rocky Hock Cemetery, Surry County.

ROY HARTWELL STUART 

  Roy Hartwell Stuart, age 60, of Ashland, died Tuesday, October 11, 1977. 
He was a native of Surry County; retired employee of Ashland Auto Parts Co., 
an Army Veteran of World War II; member of Royal Order of Moose No. 2099 
Ashland.  He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Irene Wilmouth of 
Thomasville, NC; two stepdaughters, Mrs. June C. Minrick of Ashland and 
Mrs. Martha Thomas of Arvonia; two brothers, Willie B. Stuart of Richmond 
and Ashton L. Stuart of Surry County; five grandchildren.  Funeral service 
will be held Thursday October 13, at 2:30 p.m. in the Purviance Funeral 
Chapel, Wakefield.  Burial with Moose Rites will be conducted in Rocky Hock 
Church Cemetery, Surry County.
