Seward, Sr. Buried Sunday Beverly A. Seward Sr., age 57, died Saturday at 11 A.M. at his home in Elberon, Va. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Polly Brittle Seward; one son, Beverly A. Seward Jr.; two daughters, Mrs. H.J. Babb and Miss Jane Seward and one grandson, all of Elberon, Va. Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 P.M. at Jones Funeral Home, Smithfield. Burial was in Moore's Swamp Cemetery. Beverly Alvin SEWARD, Sr., farmer, b. 7 Oct 1891, Surry Co., d. 9 Oct 1948, at home, Elberon, interred in Moore's Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery*, 10 Oct 1948, "Smithfield (VA) Times," Vol. 31, No. 20, Wed., Oct. 13, 1948, p. 1 *Find a Grave Mem. #102492993 His parents, Frank R. & "Sallie" Sarah (COX) SEWARD, are also buried there.
