TROXLER Mrs. Marion Pittman Troxler, 66, of Raleigh, N.C., died Friday, Oct. 9, 1987, in her home. Mrs. Troxler was a native of Dendron. She was a member of Highland United Methodist Church, the Garden Club of North Carolina, the Wake County Historical Society and the Raleigh Woman's Club. She was a board member of the State Capitol Foundation and past president of the Raleigh Garden Club. Survivors include her husband, William F. Troxler; two daughters, Suzanne Babcock and Betsy Thorne, both of Raleigh; two sons, William F. Troxler, Jr. and Robert E. Troxler, both of Raleigh; a sister, Mary E. Rogers of Wakefield; a brother, Ernest Pittman of Wakefield; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Oct. 12, in Highland United Methodist Church, Raleigh, by the Rev. John Cline. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Marin Pittman Troxler Trust Fund, State Capitol Fund Inc., P.O. Box 27611, Raleigh, N.C. 27611. Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, Raleigh, handled the arrangements.
