EULA MAE JONES TURNER 

  DENDRON - Mrs. Eula Mae Jones Turner, 73, died August 19, in Louise Obici 
Memorial Hospital, Suffolk.  She was a native of Gates County, and the widow 
of Robert G. Turner.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. William E. Curl of Dendron and Mrs. 
William R. Taylor of Chuckatuck; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Lee Briley of 
Norfolk, Mrs. Essie Umphlette of Suffolk and Mrs. Nellie Piland of Sunbury, 
two brothers, Wilbur Jones of Driver and Aubrey Jones of Suffolk; six 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

  A funeral was held on Aug. 20, in Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, by 
Dr. R.E. Brittle.  Burial was in Meadowbrook Gardens, Suffolk.

   buried in a MATTHEWS family cemetery, Gatesville, Gates Co., NC.
