Wilson [Correspondence of the Richmond Dispatch] WAKEFIELD, VA., August 13 - Dr. John W. Wilson, who was a prominent physician and farmer of Surry County, died at his home, a few miles from here, this morning at 8 o'clock. About seven years ago he suffered a severe stroke of paralysis, from which he never recovered, but he had gradually wasted away until his death. He had many lifelong friends made by his kindness while a practicing physician, not to speak of those he attached to him socially.
