WILLIAMSBURG - Carl R. "Randy" Williams Jr. died on March 17, 2003, at Williamsburg Community Hospital. He was a native of Greensboro, N.C., but has been a resident of Williamsburg for 30 years. Randy was the owner of the Apollo Style Salon and Randy’s Hair Room. More recently he was employed by Ferguson, Inc. He was a caring person who enjoyed collecting antiques and spending time with friends. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy P. Williams; father, Carl R. Williams and wife, Joanne; sister, Ginger Howell and husband, Baines; step-sister, Carlen Hervig and husband, Mark; step-brother, Bret Williams; niece, Christie York and husband, Rodney; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 21, in the Chapel at Bucktrout of Williamsburg Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family at that time. Memorial may be made to Hospice Support Care of Williamsburg at Hospice House, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188 or the American Cancer Society, 895 Middleground Blvd., Suite 154, Newport News, VA 23606. Bucktrout of Williamsburg is in charge of arrangements.
