JOHN PAUL WRENN 

  John Paul Wrenn, 96, passed away Monday, May 17, 2004 at Henrico Health Care 
Center, Highland Springs, Va.  Born December 18, 1907 in Surry County, Va., he 
was the son of the late Thaddeus S. Wrenn and Hannah Seward Wrenn.  Paul was a 
retired Surry County farmer.  He is survived by his nephew, David Franklin 
Wrenn.  Funeral services will be held Friday, May 21, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the 
Purviance Funeral Home Chapel, Wakefield, Va., with Senior Minister Mark 
Coffey officiating.  Interment will follow in the Wrenn family cemetery in 
Surry County.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6:30 until 9 
p.m., at the Purviance Funeral Home.  Memorial donations may be made to the 
Dendron Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 155, Dendron, Va. 23839 or the 
Surry Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 188, Surry, Va. 23883.
