To my son James Anderson & his heirs forever: All my estate currently in his possession, 5 pounds current money of VA, & after the death or marriage of my wife Rebecca, one negro man named Peter & my large Bible. To my son Jordan Anderson & his heirs forever: All my estate currently in his possession, 5 pounds current money, 1 book, & after the death of my wife Rebecca, one negro man named Robin. To my son John Anderson & his heirs forever: one parcel/tract of land in Amelia Co. "joining to Thomas & Jordan Andersons land it being the remainder of a tract of land given to the said Thomas and Jordan Anderson containing by estimates two hundred acres more or less," 15 pounds current money "in lieu of a tract of land that I formerly designed to give to him joining to my land I now live on," 5 pounds current money more, & after the death or marriage of my wife Rebecca, one negro boy named Aaron. To my sons Thomas, James, Jordan & John Anderson: All my wearing apparel to be equally divided among them. To my daughter Mary E[paper torn]: All the estate she currently has in her possession, & 5 pounds current money. To my daughter Lyddey Averiss: 5 pounds current money, & all my estate currently in her possession. To my daughter Priscilla: 5 pounds current money, & all my estate currently in her possession. To my daughter Faith: 5 pounds current money, & all my estate currently in her possession. To my son William Anderson & his heirs forever: All my land in Surry Co., one snuff box, one pocket book, one gun "called mine," & after the death of my wife Rebecca, one negro woman named Kale & her increase, one negro boy named Ned, one still, & my desk. To my wife Rebecca & my son William Anderson: All the remainder of my estate to be equally divided between them. If my son William Anderson dies before marriage or becoming of age: All my estate given to him may be equally divided among all my children then living. To my wife during her life: The use of the negroes Cale & Ned, my still, gun, and desk. To my wife Rebecca during her life or widowhood: The use of the negroes Peter, Robin & Aaron. Since my wife has been given the use of all my negroes & the plantation I live on during her life or widowhood; if she remarries, she should not have anything to do with that tract of land known by the name of A{m}ols.
