SURRY COUNTY, VA - WILLS AND ESTATES - John Allen, 18 Sep 1725

Upon the return of an Attachment prasited? John Allen against the Estate of Thomas 
Middleton, judgment is granted the said John Allen for seven hundred ninety five 
pounds of tobacco having made oath that the same is justly due together with the costs 
of this tessh? and John Lyus, Joshuah Nicolson, Charles Lucas and Richard Lewis or 
any three of them being first sworn are nominated & appointed to value and appraise 
the goods of the said Thomas Middleton, returned attached and to make report of their 
proceedings to the next court.

appraised the goods totaly? belonging to the above named Thomas Middleton according to 
the law and this ?  ? the same being thereupon delivered to the above named John Allen,
