SURRY COUNTY, VA - WILLS - Thomas Blunts, 1709 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Wills: Thomas Blunts, Southmark Parish, Surry Co, VA WILL OF THOMAS BLUNTS (partial) IN THE NAME OF GOD amen I Thomas Blunts of Southmark Parish in the County of Surry considering ye uncertainty of man's life and that my real estate may be devided amongst my children according to my desire, I do therefore make and ordaine this to be my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void and null all former and other wills by me made. IMPRIMIS: I give unto Howell Edmonds and to Elizabeth, his wife, one hundred acres of land joyning to ye land where how they live on ye side next ye Cattail branch up ye said branch to a dry bottom and down ye said branch to ye Blackwater Swamp the said one hundred acres of land I give unto them and to their heires forever and five pounds current mony. ITEM. I give unto my son, Thomas Blunts, all ye remaining parts of ye land that is contained within that Pattent. I also give unto my said son all my land at ye Seacock Swamp both with parcells of land I give unto my said son Thomas and to his heirs forever and whereas Henry Brigg did give a heifer to my said son with a mark to with a si? sallors? fork and under keel on ye right ear and with an over keel on ye left and all ye increase of ye said heifer being markt of ye same mark. My will is that my said son have all ye cattel that shall be upon my plantation of that mark at ye day of my death and a mare and filley that ............
