SURRY COUNTY, VA - WILLS - Joseph Ford, 1703 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Wills: Joseph Ford, Southmark Parish, Surry Co, VA WILL OF JOSEPH FORD (1703) (partial) In the name of God amen, I, Joseph Ford, of Lawnes Creek parish in ye county of Surry being weak of body but of sound and perfect memory, praise be to God do proclaim and appoint this tobe my Last Will and Testament in manner an form following: I give and bequesath my soul to God that gave it inso trusting through the meritorious? death and pasion of my Lord Savior and redeemer Jesus Christ to herewith pardon for all my sins and my body to ye earth to be decently buried and at ye discretion of my ex. ex. There is no date on the portion I copied but it follows my document which is dated 6th July 1703, at a court held at Southmark in the county of Surry, Virginia.
