Devised September 3, 1715, Proven December 19, 1716. I Mary Lacey of Lawnes Parish in the County of Surry being weak in body but praised be God of Reasonable Sence and memory doe make ordain and constitute this my last Will and Testament for the Disposal of what worldly Estate it hath pleased God to bestow upon me this Third Day of the Seventh month Called September in the year 1715 (viz) I give to my husband Robert Lacys Cuzens in England one Thousand pounds of the Tobacco Due to me from Estate of Joseph John Jackman to be Equally Divided among them. I give five hundred more of the said Tobacco to Repair the meeting house in Surry County. I give my Camblett Cloke and three Ells of Dowlace to Mary Bayly. I give unto Sarah Griffin all my wareing Clothes both Linnen and Wooling. I give unto Francis Parsons my Chest. I give unto Ann Edwards my bed Three pare Sheets a bolster a pillow Two pare of pillow Cases four blankitts. I give to my mallato Sam four and a half yards of Sarge to make into Clothes and Three Ells of fine Dowlace I give unto Elizabeth Griffin Daughter to John Griffin my warming pan and frying pan and black Hood. I give the Tobacco due to me for this year’s Rent to John Griffin. I give all the Rest of my Estate and all Tobacco Debts my Just debts and Legacys paid and my funerall Charges to be Defrayed therewith unto my friend Samuell Cornwell whome I Nominate and appoint my Sole Executor of This my Last Will and Testament. In Wittness whereof I have hereunto putt my hand and Seal the Day and year above Written.
