Between Eley Coker of Sussex County of the one part & Anthony Evans of sd County of the other part – Witnesseth that the sd Ely Coker in order to secure a debt due William Wren of four hundred dollars as Pr Bond this day executed & in consideration of One Dollar to him in hand paid by the sd Evans at or before the ensealing & delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged he the said Ely Coker hath granted bargained & Sold alien'd enfeoffed & by these presents doth grant bargain & sell alien enfeoff unto the sd Anthony Evans One certain tract or parcel of land lying in Sussex County adjoining sd Wren's land B. Barrotts, H. Burts Etheldred Davis's & James Stantons containing one hundred Acres (be the same more or less) & also all trees, woods, underwoods, commons, common of pastures, profits, commodities, advantages, emoluments & hereditaments whatsoever upon trust nevertheless, that the said Anthony Evans as trustee may & shall after the 25th day of Decr 1815 or any time thereafter proceed to sell sd land on giving ten days previous notice near the residence for ready money & out of the money arising therefrom first pay the sd debt to Wren & contingent charges, the ballance if any pay to sd Coker or his heirs. ---- In witness whereof we have hereunto Set Our hands & affixed Our seals the day & year first above written.
