This file was contributed by: Christie Canfield ==================================================================== This Indenture made this fifth day of January in the Year of our lord one thousand Seven hundred and ninety Seven ------ Between Benjamin Evans - Mary his Wife and Lucy Evans his mother of Sussex County of the one part and William Wren of Southampton of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Benjamin Evans - Mary his Wife and Lucy ------- his mother for and inconsideration of the Sum of One hundred and four Pounds twelve Shillings and eight Pence to them in hand paid by the said William Wren the receipt whereof the said Benjamin Evans Mary his Wife and Lucy ---- his Mother doth hereby acknowledge, they the said Benjamin Evans, Mary his Wife and Lucy hath granted bargained and Sold alien enfeoff And by these presents doth grant bargain and Sell alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said William Wren his heirs and assigns forever, One Certain Tract or Parcel of land Containing by estimation One hundred and Seventeen Acres be the same more or less Situate lying and being in the County of Sussex on the South Side of Jeremys Swamp and bounded as follows, Beginning at a Corner Turkey oak in Thessia? Hears line thence along the said Wm Wren line S 48o W 98 Pole to a Corner pine thence S 88o W along said Wrens line 184 Pole to a Corner white oak in the f????ng of Joseph Rossers Pond thence up a small branch the Various Courses to two Pines the E. Side of the road thence nearly N to the meadow branch thence down the meadow branch to a Cor Pine on the W. side and near the road thence up Anthony Evans line N 31?
