THIS INDENTURE made this second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen between Solomon Graves adm'r. with the Will annexed of Christopher Hood dec'd. of the one part and Jesse Lee of Sussex County of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Solomon Graves adm'r. with the Will annexed of Christopher Hood dec'd. for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand and twenty five dollars and ten cents Virginia money to him in hand paid by the said Jesse Lee at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained & sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the said Jesse Lee his heirs or assigns one piece or parcel of land lying in the County of Sussex whereof Christopher Hood dec'd. seized and possessed containing one hundred and seventy acres (be the same more or less) and bounded by the land of John Hood Jr., John Hood Sen'r., Parham Moore, Hinchey Rochelle William H. Coman James Rogers and William Graves to the begining. To have and to hold the said piece or parcel of land unto the said Jesse Lee his heirs or assigns with all and singular the appurtenances thereto belonging to him the said Jesse Lee his heirs and assigns forever. In Witness whereof I the said Solomon Graves adm'r. with the Will annexed of Christophed dec'd. have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal the day and date first above written. Signed & acknowledged in presence of} Solomon Graves adm'r. (Seal) On the 2nd day of February 1815.
