Persons or organizations desiring to use this material, must obtain the written consent of the contributor, or the legal representative of the submitter, and contact the listed USGenWeb archivist with proof of this consent. ************************************************************************ Contributed by Christie Canfield **************************************************************** This Indenture made this 14th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight Between James Stanton of Sussex County Trustee of the one part and William Wren of said County of the other part Witnesseth that the said James Stanton Trustee for & in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said William Wren the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge hath granted Bargained and Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and by these presents doth grant bargain and Sell alien Enfeoff & confirm unto the said William Wren his heirs &C one certain Tract or parcel of Land Containing by estimation one hundred acres be the same more or less situate lying and being and being in the County of Sussex and known by the bounds of Richard Wren's Deed by having reference to that Deed will at large more fully appear conveyed to his Son Evans Wren however it is known by Burrel Barrotts, William Wrens, Etheldred Davis, and said William Wrens lines, again one hundred acres and also all woods underwoods Commons Common of pastures profits Commodities advantages Emoluments and hereditaments whatsoever to the said Tract or parcel of Land above mentioned belonging or any ways appertaining or in or upon the same growing happening or arising and also the reversion & reversions Remainder and Remainders rents and Services of said land & of every part thereof and also all the estate right title Interest claim & demand whatsoever of they the said Stanton Trustee & Evans Wren of in and to the said premises above mentioned and every part and parcel thereof. To have and to hold all and Singular the said premises and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances unto the said William Wren his heirs and assigns to the only proper use & behoof of the said William Wren his heirs and assigns forever, and the said James Stanton trustee for himself & his heirs the said Tract of Land and every part thereof against himself and his heirs and against all and every other person and persons shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said James Stanton as trustee have hereunto Set his hand and affixed his Seal the day and year first above written --- Signed Sealed & delivered and Jas Stanton (seal) acknowledged in presence of George Norsworthy John Newby At a Court held for Sussex County the 5th day of July 1810 This Indenture was acknowledged by James Stanton the party thereto to be his act and Deed and ordered to be recorded exd Teste H Bailey Clk Sussex Co.
