KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that William Shands of Sussex County for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and do unto my Son in Law Christopher Golightley hath given granted and delivered and by these presents doth give grant and deliver unto the Christopher Golightley one negro girl called Sy_ia which said girl I warrant the title unto the said Christopher Golightley from me and my heirs and from all and every other person and persons whatsoever that shall lay any right title chalinge claim and demand unto the said girl IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this twenty fifth day of November in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and fifty Eight.
