Deed- William Shands to Christopher Golightley - 1758

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that William Shands of Sussex County for
and in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and
do unto my Son in Law Christopher Golightley hath given granted and
delivered and by these presents doth give grant and deliver unto the
Christopher Golightley one negro girl called Sy_ia which said girl I
warrant the title unto the said Christopher Golightley from me and my
heirs and from all and every other person and persons whatsoever that
shall lay any right title chalinge claim and demand unto the said girl
IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this
twenty fifth day of November in the year of our Lord Christ one 
thousand seven hundred and fifty Eight.

At a Court held for Sussex County the 15th day of December 1758.
This Indenture was proved to be the act and deed of the thereto 
subscribed William Shands by the oaths of Thomas Young and David Jones
Jun'r. two of the witnesses thereto and by the Court ordered to be
recorded.
