  I do with the advice of Council hereby certify Eve Clark, widow of John Clark, 
late a private in the15th Virginia Regiment and died in the service of the 
Continental, is entitled to the sum of twelve pounds yearly, commencing from the 
1st day of January 1786.  Given under my hand as Governor of the Commonwealth of 
Virginia, at Richmond, this 18th day of January 1787.

Sussex County to wit: April Court 1797: Ordered that it be certified to the 
Executive that Eve Clark, Susanna Rowland, Susannah Rawlings and Sarah Stacey 
pensioners are in as ___ circumstances as they were when last recommended.  Copy
