Guardianship Bonds - Orphans of Hardy Sammons (Loose Documents, Reference 1824-244 & Reference 1824-245) KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT WE Willie Sammons,Edward Reen,and James Seaborn are held and firmly bound unto Nat.Cargill, Henry Mason, Henry J.Harrison and James R.Parham, GENTLEMEN, Justices of Sussex County Court now sitting, in the sum of two thousand Dollars: payment whereof well and truly to be made unto the said Justices and their successors in office, we bind ourselves, our and each of our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 2nd day of September one thousand eight hundred and twenty four. THE CONDITION of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound Willie Sammons is this day appointed Guardian to Charlotte Sammons, and Temperance Sammons, orphans of Hardy Sammons deceased.
