TENNANT PERSON ALLEN 

   Tennant Pearson Allen, age 63, of Midlothian, Va., died Saturday, March 19, 
1988 in St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond.  He was a native of Wakefield, Va.  He 
was a 1949 graduate of V.P.I, and had been an engineer for Reynolds Aluminum 
Co., Richmond, for thirty-five years.  He was a member of Salisbury 
Presbyterian Church, Midlothian.  He was a native of Wakefield, Va.  He was 
son of the late Gilbert Tennant and Mary Love Jones Allen.  He is survived by 
his wife, Mrs. Billy Richmond Allen; three sons, John Person Allen of North 
Augusta, S.C., Thomas Tennant Allen of Richmond, William Beaty Allen of 
Mechanicsville and three grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held 
Sunday evening at 8 p.m. in Salisbury Presbyterian Church, Midlothian by Rev. 
Jon Regen.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, 1988, 
in Wakefield United Methodist Church, Wakefield, Va. by Rev. E. Lee Chattin 
and Rev. B.E. Dotson.  Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery.  Memorial 
donations may be made to Salisbury Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 13621 
Salisbury Rd., Midlothian, Va. 23113, The American Cancer Society, or the Mary 
Love Allen Foundation, Wakefield, Va.  Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, in 
charge of arrangements.
