ANNIE GRIZZARD WHITE ANDREWS 

  WAKEFIELD - Mrs. Annie Grizzard White Andrews, 71, died Sunday afternoon 
in Medical College of Virginia Hospital, Richmond.

  A native of Southampton County, she was the widow, by her first marriage, 
of Edward C. White.

  She was a member of Wakefield United Methodist Church.

  A former school teacher, she attended Longwood College and was a graduated 
of Elon College, N.C.

  Surviving are her husband, Bernard B. Andrews of Wakefield; two sons, 
Edward Carl White, Jr. of Carterville, Ga., and Stanley G. White of Brighton, 
Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. B.E. Cowling, Jr. of Waverly; three sisters, Mrs. E.M. 
Lilly of Portsmouth, Miss Clyde Grizzard of Drewryville, and Mrs. Kim G. 
Brooks of Chase City; six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

  A funeral service will he held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Purviance Funeral 
Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. R.L. Consolvo.  Burial will be in Wakefield 
Cemetery.

  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Wakefield Methodist 
Church or Waverly Rescue Squad.
