He was a member of the Shrine of the Infant Jesus at Prague in Wakefield. He was the owner and operator of the Cabin Point Grocery in Surry County. He was the son of the late Charles A. "Peto" Anderson, Jr. and Mrs. Mary Ann Marshall of Wakefield. He is also survived by his step-father, George N. Marshall, Sr. of Wakefield; a sister, Sarah A. Greenwell of Hollywood, Md.; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Sadie Holmes Anderson of Wakefield; and a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Rosaline Coleman Cannon of Petersburg. The funeral service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in the Shrine of the Infant Jesus at Prague by Father Albert F. Pereira. Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to one's local rescue squad. Remains rest at Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield.
