   MRS. B.B. ANDREWS 

  WAKEFIELD - Oct. 27. - Mrs. Violet Williams Andrews died Friday at her home 
here.  Surviving are her husband, Bernard B. Andrews; six sisters, Mrs. A.D. 
Greene of Norfolk, Mrs. Henry G. Guidt of Richmond, Mrs. W.T. Sinclair and 
Mrs. Ruth Sharpe of Petersburg, Mrs. W.W. Harris and Mrs. C.B. Harrell of 
Waverly.  Funeral rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Purviance Funeral 
Chapel with burial in Wakefield Cemetery.

VIOLET WILLIAMS ANDREWS 

MRS. ANDREWS DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS 

  Mrs. Violet Williams Andrews, died Friday, October 26 at her home near 
Wakefield after a long illness.

  She was a native of Southampton County, a daughter of the late Charles 
Thomas and Mrs. Virginia Elizabeth Williams.  She was a member of the 
Wakefield Methodist Church.

  Surviving are her husband, Bernard Andrews; six sisters, Mrs. Ruth Sharpe 
and Mrs. W.T. Sinclair, both of Petersburg; Mrs. W.W. Harris and Mrs. C.B. 
Harrell, both of Waverly; Mrs. Henry G. Guidt of Richmond, and Mrs. A.D. 
Greene, of Norfolk; 19 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and 
nephews.

  Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Purviance Funeral 
Chapel by the Rev. L.P. Bland, Pastor or Wakefield Methodist Church, assisted 
by Dr. J.E. White, retired Baptist Church minister. 

  Interment in the Wakefield Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were J.R. Andrews, F.W. Green, W.D. Sharpe, B.E. Sharpe, Jr., 
E.B. Sinclair, W.T. Sinclair, Jr., P.T. Harrell and E.L. Harrell.  Honorary 
pallbearers were friends of the family.
