Petersburg, Va., May 12.- Intelligence was received here this morning of a most shocking suicide in Sussex, which occurred a few days ago, the victim of death by her own hands being Mrs. Alice Bishop, a widely known lady of that county, who killed herself by cutting her throat from ear to ear with a razor. The unfortunate woman had been a invalid for some time, and had to be moved about the house in an invalid's chair. She is survived by her husband and two or three children.
