Mrs. Bailey was a lifelong Wakefield resident and a member of Wakefield United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Archur L. Bailey; one daughter, Jennifer E. Bailey; two sons, William L. Bailey and Neil A. Bailey, her mother, Mary S. Jolliff Leech all of Wakefield, one brother, W.M. Leech Jr. of Lexington. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Purviance Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Edwards. Burial will follow in Wakefield Cemetery. The family will be at the residence. The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, 618C J. Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News, 23601.
