She was a native of Wakefield and was the daughter of the late Garney Ralph and Mary Griffin Atkinson. She attended Radford College and was a teacher in several Virginia public school systems. She was a nurse's aid for the America Red Cross during World War II. Beall was a member of the Seabreeze United Church in Daytona Beach, Fla. She is survived by her husband, Jesse R. Beall of Leesburg, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service was held Tuesday, May 4 at the Wakefield Cemetery by the Rev. Doug Cotter.
