JOHN WILLIAM BALDWIN 

  WAKEFIELD - Sept. 19 - A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday for 
John William Baldwin, 34, who died in Richmond Tuesday.  Service will be at 
Purviance Funeral Chapel here with burial in Wakefield Cemetery.  Surviving 
are his wife, Kathryn Edwards Baldwin; two sons, Charles and Billy Baldwin; a 
daughter, Sue Baldwin, all of Richmond; his mother, Ethel Baldwin of 
Smithfield; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Bailey of Portsmouth and Mrs. Ashby 
Bowden of Smithfield.

The home of sister Mary Leslie BOWDEN in Rushmere - owned by their mother - 
   was destryoyed by fire, 16 Aug 1946, killing his infant daughter Carolyn 
   Maxine.  (D.Cert. 17758 {Hardy #8})  She is also buried there.

His widow 2m. Richard T. SLADE.  They are also buried there.
